In hope I live

Living within the four walls,

alone and lonely,with no one to answer my calls.

Is there hope left for me ?

Or should I just let it be ?

For that one person my love still exists,

For her, I cease to exist.

For it is her that I miss,

For her though, is ignorance a bliss ?

Is it the distance ?

Am I not near ?

Why the resistance?

Why the fear ?

In hope I live, if I may,

Wondering if there ll ever be a day,

When I know you will stay,

Right beside me everyday !!

One kind word

I expected one kind word,

but who am I to get one,

I expected one kind word,

I am a nobody to everyone.

I expected one kind word,

to help me through,

I expected one kind word,

just so that I felt something new.

I expected one kind word,

to make my life worthwhile,

I expected one kind word,

hoping you'd stay awhile.

I expected one kind word,

every time,

But it almost never came in,

in my lifetime.

I expected one kind word,

just so that,

I knew,

I was someone to you.

Rants of a lonely Soul

i know i have none

though i am an enemy to none

i know i have none

to fight for me, to live for me

my war has only just begun

i know i have none

for god too has left, leaving me none

it wasnt my choice to pick

destiny did the trick

i awoke to the war

a war that shall stop

only when i reach the heavens atop

where is the war ?, they asked

for they did not see it was a war meant only for me

within me it raged

killing none injuring one

with none to answer my call

the climb to freedom seemed very tall

summers and winters went by,

questions left unanswered, why oh why ?

the war never ceased

it was a lost cause

though there was only one victor

and one loser

there was no hope

the solution - a thread of rope

yet i fought the war,

fought for survival

even though i know i have none

for god too has left, leaving me none !!!
